由于磁场能够穿透许多非金属材料，因此无须直接接触目标物体就可触发交换过程。通过使用磁性导体（比如铁），磁场即可被传导到较远的距离，于是，信号就能从温度高的区域传送出去。磁性传感器的应用范围十分广泛。例如：
